OMG! Because I Love You

From August 10th to August 14th, a group of kids from all over Los Angeles and an amazing group of filmmakers collaborated on a series of movies and music videos — including a fabulous MUSIC VIDEO for my song BECAUSE I LOVE YOU. I have never had so much fun shooting a music video! The kids created and collaborated on everything…the story concept, set design, costumes, animation, directing, and even the shooting of the video. There were cameras everywhere!

Art & Music

I love to collaborate with talented people. The new official music video for “Sinking Ship” was an amazing collaboration with many multi-talented people. The video was created by Bronic Bednarek, who I create music videos with again and again. He always brings a unique creative perspective and creates beautiful videos.  Sinking Ship is my favorite of our work together thus far. Screen Shot 2014-10-05 at 10.23.29 PM

The video also features my very talented actor/musician friend, Evan Gamble. Evan and I have been writing Screen Shot 2014-10-05 at 10.31.55 PMsongs and performing together for years but we actually met in an acting class, so we love to get back to our roots and work together as actors.

To celebrate the release of the video, I collaborated with multi-talented artist, Bryden Lando, to create some new merchandise. I am very excited about his beautiful painting of me, which is available as poster prints, and his sketch of my Three Words album cover, which is available on t-shirts.

I am so grateful to be surrounded by such incredible artists.

Martini Time Talk Show

Here’s a fun interview I did with my friend Nadeya Ward for her new webseries “Martini Time Talk Show”:

We talk about my new EP “Three Words”, filming “How I Met Your Mother” and discuss the topic of gateway drugs…but not in the way you think 😉

Musicians Against Child Abuse

I just got back from playing “Musicians Against Child Abuse” a benefit concert to raise awareness and funds for Prevent Child Abuse Vermont. April was National Child Abuse Prevention month and I was really excited to do anything I need. What better way than through music? The event was a great success and I got to share the stage with some amazing Vermont musicians including Bow Thayer ( and Chad Hollister ( I also got to share the stage with my favorite guitarist ever — my dad! Yup, I pulled my dad on stage to join me for a few songs (see the picture above). Love that guy!

It’s always great being back in Vermont and I was so grateful to be asked to support such a worthy cause. For more information on the organization or child abuse prevention, check out or the national organization
